What if I'm not sure about my birthday? Compatikey requires accurate birth information to be useful. If you do not have a copy of your birth certificate, you can contact the hall of records in the city where you were born. [Top of Page]
Do I need to know my birth time? Compatikey rarely needs the birth time. When it is necessary for an accurate result, Compatikey will prompt you for it. If you are prompted for it and you are not sure of your birth time contact the hall of records in the city where you were born to obtain that information. [Top of Page]
Why does Compatikey sometimes ask for additional birth information like the place of birth and the time? One of the data sets that drives the Compatikey results is the astrological data set. This is the same data set that astrologers use to create what is known as the chart in astrology. On any given day a significant astrological influence, like a planet may be moving out of one constellation into another one. For example, the planet Venus moving out of Virgo and into Libra. If something like that happens on your birthday the time of birth, and the location of birth is necessary to calculate where that planet was at the time of birth. Compatikey is extremely accurate and even takes into consideration all of the changes in the rules for daylight savings time over the years in hundreds of thousands of cities across the planet. How do I know that this information is valuable?

Names and birthdates are not considered sensitive personal information and there is no risk of causing identity theft from entering that information about the people in your life into Compatikey. What if I'm not sure about another persons birthday? Not being sure about another persons birthday can fall in many categories;
- The person is in your past, you're no longer in contact with them and your memory is not clear.
- You're not certain that the other person is being honest with you about their birth date.
- The other person is unsure about their birth data and has told you so.

Why are there only three icons next to my name on the Compatikey grid? That means that you are the current selected member and those 3 icons are your static Identikeys. Each lines result represents your relationship with the person on that line, so the dynamic keys are missing because a relationship with yourself can't be represented. How does Compatikey work?
