On the Compatikey grid:  Who Is Who?  What is what?

Associate the highlighted text by color to the graphics, to quickly understand:

  1. Which Identikeys are Static Identikeys and which are Dynamic Identikeys.
  2. The difference between Static Identikeys  and Dynamic Identikeys.
  3. Which icons represent the Active Member and which represent the Other Members.
  4. Which icons represent the relationship between the Active Member and the Other Members.

Power Tip:  Place your mouse over any icon on the grid, and you will see an explanation about who and what it represents.

Static Identikeys: Relationship Style, Plan Style and Stress Management

Static Identikeys don't change from relationship to relationship because Static Identikeys represent an individuals hidden qualities or characteristics represented by that Identikey. Whatever value shows up for an individual in one relationship, will be the same for that individual in another relationship.

In the example below, note that the values in the first column for each Static Identikey, representing the Active Member, Mark, remain the same for each relationship down the list. Mark is always a a and has a Stress Management icon.
The second column representing the Other Member changes to reflect the static values of each different Other Member as you move down the grid.

  1. Every line in a Compatikey result represents the relationship between the Active Member, and the Other Member  whose name appears on each line.
  2. There are three Static Identikeys  and each have two side-by-side icons, one for each party in a relationship.
  3. The left icon always represents the Active Member.
  4. The right icon right always represents the Other Member.
  5. The Active Member displays only three static icons, because the Active Member is the focus of the grid.  Every other line is the Active Member's relationship with the Other Member  on that line.

**It is important to note that Active Member can be changed to any Other Member, instantly changing the focus of the grid as described in number 5 above.  This is done by using the mouse to select any Other Member and then clicking "Make Selected Member Active" at top left of the grid.

Dynamic Identikeys: Chemistry, Resonance and Inner Style

Dynamic Identikeys change from relationship to relationship because Dynamic Identikeys are a visual reference to the recipe or combination of two peoples hidden inner qualities together. The results of the interaction between the hidden inner qualities and characteristics of both individuals is stored in your memories of that experience.

The First two Dynamic Identikeys Chemistry and  Resonance each have three side-by-side icons.

Some Identikeys are more significant than others.

Description:

These two Identikeys represent the hidden natural framework of how we are in relationship with others. This key represents useful, "good to know" information. These 3 Identikeys fill in the framework made of the first two primary Identikeys.
It is useful to think of them as the colors, textures, and tones that differentiate one relationship from another within the framework of the static keys.

Preference:

You will quickly discover your preference in these two Identikeys when you look at you significant past relationships.
Discovering your preferences here is especially important in highly significant & emotionally charged relationships like love relationships.
Not very important in terms of preference. Just useful in terms of being more mindful of stress  & managing it's effects! Compatibility is truly an experience that results from the interaction of the qualities of two people.
Some of those qualities are known to us, but others are hidden.
These three Identikeys give you a visual reference to the combination of two peoples hidden qualities. Like a recipe.
Your memories of past experiences represent the results of these different recipes.
Compare the visual recipes to the results you experienced in order to identify the combinations that work for you. That will become your preference.
There are no wrong answers, there are only the combination that work for you. It is up to you to decide what they are.
The Big Picture! Remember all of these Identikeys are fully interactive, each one contributing to the end result.

If you are dating and looking for a new relationship your chances at long-term success are greater with every Compatikey preference you decide on and commit to finding.

The "Combinations That Work" for you are based upon your opinion of your own experience.
In Compatikey Identikeys, the "good choice" or "right choice" is the one that your experience tells you consistently delivers the experience that "you prefer".
